About The Re-Rate
Some stocks don’t just go up. They get repriced.
A company spends years being valued as one thing, a memory commodity, a niche hardware maker, a boring HVAC industrial and then the market wakes up and decides it’s something else entirely. The multiple expands. The story changes. That’s a re-rate, and if you owned it before the recognition, you didn’t need leverage, options, or timing. You needed to see the future slightly earlier than everyone else — and then do the hardest thing in investing: hold on.
That’s what The Re-Rate looks for. Not trades. Not alerts. The small number of companies positioned in front of technology shifts the market hasn’t priced yet.
The process, not just picks. Every great long-term winner — Apple, Nvidia, AMD — made its money for the people who understood why they owned it and sat still. I built The Re-Rate around a systematic version of that: a scoring framework that screens for accelerating technology adoption, supply-chain position, and financial quality, with a forensic accounting overlay to catch the blowups before they catch us. I spent a decade as a financial advisor and hold an accounting degree; I read the footnotes so you don’t have to.
A track record you can check. In 2025, I published the case for Micron as the most undervalued AI play — HBM memory as a chokepoint of the AI buildout — when the market still saw a commodity cyclical. That call is the template for everything here: find the re-rate before the reprice.
What subscribers get
Free subscribers receive selected research, market commentary, and three fully disclosed positions from my portfolio — thesis, entry logic, and ongoing updates.
Paid subscribers get the complete Re-Rate portfolio — every position I hold, currently twelve names — with full research reports, the thesis and the risks for each, quarterly reviews, and plain-language updates whenever my view on a holding changes. No buy/sell alerts, no urgency games. This is a long-term portfolio, and you’ll always know what’s in it and why.
The fine print
The Re-Rate is my personal portfolio and my personal research, published for informational and educational purposes. It is not individualized investment advice — I don’t know your situation, and nothing here is a recommendation tailored to you. I own the securities I write about and will always disclose my positions. Do your own diligence; markets carry risk, including the loss of capital.
